How's it like... living in the South?
by Preston inhere in lovely phoenix, az there's a part of me that's tired of phoenix's one redemable feature (reasonable housing prices) and dismiss the cacti, hot temps, lackluster football teams, golfing culture and predominance of fake people with orange tans and..... ... live in a nice bungalow on a country road, havin' a truck with a gun rack, a (rainbow) confederate flag, cranking up some nice soothing wanda jackson, grow myself a big booshy moustache, wear a denim vest, get myself a bassett hound and sit on a front porch in my rocking chair while whispering to myself "it's good to own land.".
for those of you that live in the deep south... or just the regular south.... how's it treating you?
i may consider a change in living arrangements.. - preston.

I live in SE Ok!ahoma. Green. Very green. Even have mountains. Land is cheap. Clean fresh air, execpt in Va!!ant Ok!ahoma, where Weyerhauser is. Phewwwww
Rural area, Mostly nice folks, except the Haworth area, but they are all kin to each other, (If you know what I mean) 2 hours from Dallas. 2.5 hours to Tulsa or OKC,
Your hat will fit in well here. Lots of ropers and riders. If you don't live in-town, gotta have cows. Need a big pick up truck, with a dog trained to ride in the bed, looking at the cars going by, or at the car in back of them. Most dogs will also guard your truck, while you go in and have breakfast. You even look in the bed of a pickup, and those dogs will be looking you in the eye.
Down sides No malls. Have to drive everywhere. No (name) brand places to eat. Just Sonic, and Pizza hut, and little diners. Want a special exotic ingredient to put in that new recipe? You are probably not going to find it around here.

I LOVE YOU TOO!!
Remember I PMed you, and told you, that you looked like my brother. Same birthdate etc...? Everytime I would read one of your posts, I squint, and really look at your avatar. I knew your posts weren't uppity, as his would have been. But that face, under the funny glasses......
I looked all over for a picture of him last week. None, but a baby picture of him. LOL
So, especially, since you showed your true self, I have to say, I LOVE YOU TOO!! Now, where is my jewelry???

Phew, I feel so much better with that off my chest.
From a girl who loves her donuts, and has a large one each and every morning, I think it is off of your chest, and plastered somewhere else.

THIS, my friends is KILLING the Watchtower Society....RIGHT NOW!
by RedPill2006 incanadian archaelogist zhichun jing, writing about the decline of the highly creative shang dynasty, said "...after a century the shang vitality slackened.
the initial diversity and creativity devolved into a dull sameness.
by the end we see that things like their pottery, architecture and artwork had become standardized and simplified.

Redpill, I recently told my boss, that I was on antidepressants. I have worked closely with him for 6 months. He said he never would have guessed, in the way I conduct myself at work. I am always smiling, and continue to put a bounce in my step. Mainly because I am 48 years old, and almost the oldest among the workers. I feel that I need to prove myself more, because of my age.
When I get home, I crash.
I would bet, that the number would amount to many more than your 14. But you may never know, because antidepressants are taboo, for some JW's, my mother included. Some would rather people just not know. Others are good about taking medication, and hiding the fact, and people think they are naturally happy.

Is this fair?
by nbernat inthis is my take on the whole inherited sin thing:.
let's say your parents committed a crime and were sentenced to life in prison, let's say 140 years.
now, they died 90 years short of their sentence.

If he just started over, it would likely just happen again and we would be in the same predicament.
Sounds as if there was a flaw in the overall design. Time to scrap it all, and go back to the drawing board.
"If at first you don't succeed, try, try, again."
If a terrible flaw occurred now days, in a product, that resulted in deaths, let alone millions of deaths, that product would be recalled. Most companies and products have a quality control group, that oversee the making and safety of products.
Is this Jehovah's excuse? He had no quality control? So he now has this group, the JW's. They are telling all of his weaknesses, and that he is going to start all over.
TOO LATE!!! Why didn't you do this a long time ago!!! You screwed up!! Oh?? Really? Never mind, I didn't realize this was only a fairytale. Sorry, my bad.

If you get away from the plain glazed, be sure to get the custard filled, not the icing filled. The icing filled are a bit much. Kinda like wedding cake icing inserted in a donut. YUK Custard filled ones are great.

I love donuts of any brand. I have one for breakfast every morning. Don't like cake donuts. If I wanted cake, I would eat a cake. I like the yeast, raised ones.
When I was very little, a good memory was going to Daylight Donuts, with my dad, and getting a coconut topped donut. When I am in the city, and pass a KK, I always stop.
When you walk in, they give you a free donut, still warm. You can watch them being made, and get a free donut maker paper hat! What could be better than that?? LOL
Seriously, they are good.
